What  a group of college freshmen said about their Strategies for Success seminar?

• I loved this seminar.  It’s helping me out a lot and really prepared me for the fall of my freshman year of college.  She really motivated me to succeed and inspired me to reach for my goals and dreams.

• I want to thank you for all of these seminars.  I have learned so much about myself, about others that I couldn’t have figured out on my own.  These seminars have truly made me aware of my own strengths and how I can overcome and get over the difficult things in my life.  I’ve realized that no one is perfect and I don’t have to be either.  Because of your words, I’ve realized I am my own person and I define my own success.
   
•  This program is so people-oriented and down to earth.  It is real life situations.  I loved it!  I just wish we could have seen you more.  I feel like it should be a mandatory class in high school.
   
• This is an excellent program.  It shows you how to take real life problems and work through them while staying calm.  These life lessons keep you smiling for days!
   
• This class has been a wonderful learning experience.  I have learned so many things about myself.  This class made me sit down and think about myself.  What do I want?  Who am I?  What are my goals?  This class has brought me to another level.  I can’t explain it. It’s unimaginable.
   
• I feel so lucky about having the opportunity to take this program.  I totally loved it. I wish from my heart that this program could be taught in all schools and colleges around the US.  I wish I could keep taking this program because there is always something new to learn.  I just want to tell you that you are a star, a light.  You gave me confidence and positivity.  Every time I go through a bad situation, I will think about you and remember that positivity you have, that personality.  You are the best.  God bless you!
   
• This program has changed me at the most perfect time of my life, going to college.  I gained a new outlook on life and I love it so much that I also want to share it with everyone else because it’s great.  Since the first meeting, I’ve been trying to preach everything I learn here to my mom, mostly because she has a cover over her eyes that I feel is holding her back, the same cover that was over my eyes before this program.  I wish that my mom could meet you, not just my mom but many people in this world.  If only there were more people like you in this world, we would all be okay.  Unfortunately there is not and that is why I so deeply respect what you do.  Thank you again.  You’ve changed me.
   
• I would like to thank you for giving me the positive attitude and motivation I need to get me through the 7 week pre-college program.  Thank you for motivating me to be a better person.  I wish you the best of luck and remember, even if your program does not hit worldwide status, as long as it’s made one life better, than it is a world wide success.
   
• You made me a better person inside and out.  I come from a very negative family and they all tell me to just be in the crowd.  Don’t do nothing to stand out because I will embarrass myself.  But earlier this week I went to interview at the “the writing center” and I had no note cards, no questions, nothing.  I just walked up to them and did it off the top of my heard.  I didn’t stumble.  I didn’t mess up.  I didn’t make them see that I was shy.  It’s going to be done!  I walked out feeling smart.  I never felt so smart in my life.  It was like everything my family told me, all the negativity was gone out of my head.  It was so small but the feeling was beyond measure.  I appreciate everything about you and what you did.  I thank God for placing you in my life…thank you!!
